Do I need to download or install any information to be able to access the event? What web browser is compatible with this system? You do not need to download anything to access the vFairs platform. Any web browser will work just as long as you have a strong internet connection. Will I need to have a web camera? It is not necessary but strongly encouraged that you have a webcam for the event. Employers have the ability to text, video and audio chat with participants. STUDENTS: Once you have RSVP'd for the event you will simply need to log onto vFairs using your email address the day of the event. If I have an issue logging in, who do I contact for assistance? Send an email to [email protected]. I have completed my registration on the MCC website. How do I register recruiters from my company to participate? After completing your registration on the MCC website, you will receive an email from vFairs to create your virtual booth. In making your virtual booth you will have the capability to register all participating principals. How does the virtual Career Fair work? Participants will use the group chat rooms in each employer booths to chat with the company representatives. Recruiters will have access to this information and may invite attendees for a private video, text, or audio chat. Is there a way for candidates to share their resume with me before applying to the job? Yes! Once you have completed your booth set up you will be able to view the resumes of the participants who have already RSVP'd for the event. Will there be a training for employers on how to navigate the virtual platform? Yes, there was a training webinar held on Monday, June 15.
